Getting started
How do I create an account?+
Click "Get started" and sign in with Google or GitHub. There is no separate signup form and no new password — your account is created on first sign-in.
What happens on my first sign-in?+
A short one-question setup picks a starting toolkit of features for you, and you can optionally review the rest one card at a time. You can skip it entirely — skipping turns everything on.
I skipped setup. How do I turn features on or off now?+
Settings → Manage features. Toggling a feature only shows or hides it in your sidebar — nothing is ever deleted.
To-Do & tasks
How do I add a task quickly?+
Use the natural-language quick-add bar. Type something like "Pay rent tomorrow 5pm p1 #home" and UrCosmo parses the due date, time, priority (P1–P3), and label for you — with a live preview before you save.
Can I organize tasks into projects and sub-tasks?+
Yes. Group tasks into color-coded projects, nest sub-tasks under any task, and drag to reorder. Everything lands in your Inbox by default, and you can move tasks between projects anytime.
Does it support recurring tasks?+
Yes — set a task to repeat daily, on weekdays, weekly, or monthly. When you complete a recurring task it automatically rolls forward to its next due date.
Is there a board view?+
Yes — switch between a grouped list and a priority board (kanban) with drag-and-drop, plus search, label filters, and a ⌘K command palette to jump between views and projects.
Reminders & recurring dates
How do recurring reminders work?+
Set a reminder to repeat weekly, monthly (like an EMI), or yearly (like a birthday or insurance premium). UrCosmo always shows the next upcoming occurrence, and flags anything due within 7 days.
What reminder types are available?+
Birthday, Event, Meeting, Due Date, Meet Up, Insurance, EMI, and Other — each with its own badge so your list is scannable at a glance.
Data & privacy
Who can see my data?+
Only you. Every record is private to your account and every request is checked on the server. See the Security page for details.
Can I get a copy of my data?+
Yes — the personal data export returns a single structured file of everything across every section (Pro and Max plans).
How do I delete my account?+
Go to Settings → Delete account and confirm by typing your email. This permanently removes your account and all associated data. You can also email [email protected] if you prefer.
